While we would love to keep each and every one of our little darling puppies, unfortunately we cannot.
We do have puppies available from time to time.  Female Biewers are harder to come by because
there just aren't as many born as males and often they are kept by the breeders.

Please give equal consideration to male and female puppies.  The males do not mark if they are
neutered when they are young and have not learned that practice yet!   Males tend to want to be with
you more, are more loving and are not as independent as the females.

On occasion, we do have tiny puppies however, we most certainly do not breed for that particular size
on purpose.
If and when we do have tiny pups, we most certainly do not refer to them as "Tea-Cups".  Keep in
mind that the term widely used describing some Biewer's as Tea Cups is NOT a term that reputable
breeders use.  There is NO SUCH THING as a teacup Biewer! These are terms that certain
breeders use to increase interest in their dogs (and most always the price).  Ask me for a tea cup and I
will most likely pour you a cup of tea and give you a
20 minute dissertation on "teacups"!  ;-) If you
would like information on "SO CALLED" Tea Cup pups... click here
I am quite often asked  if Biewers are toy, standard, teacup, babydoll or miniature.  The Biewer is in
the TOY or Companion Group.  Some Biewers are smaller than others.  The breed standard weight
for the Biewer, recommended by the RVD/UCI and the Biewer Breed Club of America Inc., should
be between 4 and no more than 7 lbs.
We will only sell Biewer pups with full registration papers for show/breeding if they are of
breeding/show quality.  That said... we are VERY particular about who will get a Biewer from us.

I do not condone
in any way  mixing breeds.  We, as well as all members of the BBCA, breed
exclusively purebred Biewer to Biewer.  We are the only club in the United States that from it's
inception has bred Biewer to Biewer only and we are very proud of that stance and accomplishment.

Please be advised that I will not sell any Biewer puppy for breeding/showing purposes to anyone who
has intentions now or in the future to breed this pup to a Yorkshire Terrier or any other breed for that
matter.
All Almost Heaven Biewer pups will be under a very strict contract prohibiting  any mixing of breeds
whether you believe the Biewer to be a Yorkshire Terrier of a different color or not.  It is MY belief as
well as the Biewer Club that I belong too from it's inception that t
he Biewer is a breed of it's own,
having it's own standard in Germany and the United States and NOT a Yorkshire Terrier of a
different color nor a variant of the Yorkshire Terrier.
All pet quality pups will be sold on a strict spay and neuter contract to prevent irresponsible
breeding if they have not been already spayed and or neutered before leaving my home.  Buyers will be
given registrations for pet quality pups from the
Biewer Breed International Registry (BBIR) and
designated as NOT FOR BREEDING.

All of our Show/breeding quality Biewers will be  registered in the Biewer Breed Club of America
(BBCA) here in the United States of America.

We maintain strict records and adhere to the Code of Ethics that the BBCA has set forth for us as
breeders.

Our Biewers and their pups are healthy, beautiful, sound and have loving, wonderful temperaments.
We temperament test our pups at 45 days.  Temperament testing helps us match our pups to the
family's that wish to adopt them.
Our pups are raised in our home and under foot.  They are whelped in my state of the art whelping
room and stay next to my bed for 2 weeks.  After that they have their own puppy bedroom until
they are old enough and big enough to be with the other fur-family!  In their puppy room they have
music, television for stimulation and a 2 compartment whelping box for the beginning stages of
early potty training.

We feed them only the highest quality puppy foods to ensure they have the best start in life.
When they are old enough, they are moved to the family room to be properly socialized.  I have a
large home so all of the rooms are equipped with  digitally recorded video surveillance system so I
can watch the pups and adult dogs anywhere I am, including our cars and cell phones.  I love
technology!  I have 4 computers and 2 laptops in my home so I can see them at all times. While I
am at work I have constant monitoring of my home and pups and my housekeeper takes good care
of them while she is here!  I video all births on a live webcam for all to see!
After careful screening I will put interested parties on a waiting list.  A $500.00 deposit is required
to hold a Biewer puppy and is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you would like your deposit to go
towards a future litter, that is acceptable.  The balance is due in cash when the puppy is picked up.
I WILL NOT take deposits before the puppy reaches 8  to 12 weeks of age.  After that, I will take
your deposit to hold your puppy until it reaches it's proper age to leave.  Deposits are taken on a
first come first serve basis for picking out your puppy.  That means, whomever gives us the first
deposit has the first pick
AFTER Almost Heaven Biewers has chosen any puppy we want may
want to keep.
If a congenital defect is found or death should occur, you must notify me immediately.  In the
event of death of puppy, the Buyer (at Buyer's expense) must provide us a letter stating cause of
death from the attending veterinarian along with a copy of necropsy report.   I will not cover the
death of any puppy due to Hypoglycemia, neglect or gosh forbid...abuse. :-(  These steps are to
make you aware that I am a caring breeder who is willing to back up my pups. It also ensures that
I will be notified of any hereditary defects so I can alter my breeding program if necessary.

If the cause of death is found to be due to a congenital medical condition and my vet is in
agreement, a replacement puppy of the same quality will be arranged.  If one is not available at
that time, I will replace it from the next litter of equal quality.  All veterinary bills are the
responsibility of the buyer.
We sell our pups at 16 weeks of age or older if they are small.  I will never sell a pup before 16
weeks so please... don't ask!  As founding members of the BBCA, we follow the BBCA
guidelines to a T.  BBCA rules are not to place any pup until they have reached the age of 12
weeks.

As stated above... all pups will have been vet checked at least twice, had at least their first set of
shots, are wormed 3 times, fecal tested, ears and eyes and knees checked, random bile acid tested
and are structurally evaluated.

We put a
great deal of time, money, love and attention into our breeding program.  We reserve the
right to not let a puppy go to it's forever home until we and our vet are in agreement that it is ready
to leave our home.  We reserve the right to not let a puppy go if we do not feel that it is that pups
best interest to go there.  Under our contract, you must take your new baby to your vet within (3)
days of adoption.
Biewer's  can be HIGH MAINTAINENCE especially if you keep them in coat!  Biewers are
simply gorgous but they aren't for everyone so do your homework.  We encourage our buyers to
come and sit with the pups. Your puppy will pick you as much as you pick them!  They will steal
your heart so be careful!!
In order to give our pups the best possible start in their new homes we send a puppy care package
that includes useful information about the Biewer breed, some valuable information on grooming,
feeding, potty training, and how to tape the ears if it is necessary.

Also included are Wee Wee pads for training, our contract, the pups health records,  BBIR
registration (or a promise of) registration papers (pending spay/neuter if necessary).  We supply a
bag of food with our pups, a bed, a blanket and toys that they love.  New things are added to the
puppy packs every time! They will be groomed, perfumed, and ready to go!  If I am really organized
I will give you pictures too!
If you are a puppy mill, a broker or a pet store you need not bother wasting my time.  I
ABSOLUTELY will not sell to you.

Almost Heaven Biewers maintains the right to change these conditions at any time as we see fit
and we reserve the right (at any time) to refuse to sell to anyone we feel is not right for our
puppies.  We will not sell to mass producers of puppies or members of any breed club that has now
or in the past breed to a Yorkshire Terrier.

No Almost Heaven Biewer pup may be resold, brokered, auctioned, given to rescue, used in
animal testing etc.  Any Co-Ownership with anyone other than myself will have to be under
strict written contract and signed by me.
What to expect when purchasing one of our Almost Heaven Biewer Pups as well as my philosophies!
Are you interested in adopting an adorable Almost

?
A prospective buyer should always ask questions of their potential breeder.
Let me introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me, my breeding
program and offer answers to some questions you may have!
My name is Molly Forman and I am owned by my exquisite Biewer's.  This hobby has enabled me to
know many wonderful people, learn a great deal about the breed and become a pioneer in the United
States as I am one of the very first to own Biewer's in America!

I am a founding member as well as proud and honored to be the
past Vice President of what I think is
the finest Biewer Club in the United States of America, The BBCA ~ Biewer Breed Club of
America.
After 4 years, in January 2010 I stepped down from my Vice President position to take a
well deserved break, mainly f
rom the telephone! Even though I am taking a break from helping to
"run" the club, I will in no means be stepping away from helping out where ever and when ever I can!

I
periodically show my beautiful dogs in conformation when my time allows. I strictly follow the
breed order, code of conduct and club objectives of the BBCA.  I invite you to join our clubs Biewer
Fanciers Forum
to see many beautiful pictures and learn about the breed from some of the most highly
respected, highly regarded and ethical Biewer Fanciers and companion Biewer owners in the United
States, Canada and abroad.

We spare no expense for our Biewers.  We do DNA testing on all of our breeding pairs.  Our Biewer
pairs are tested for Liver Shunt by doing Bile Acid testing and all are Liver Shunt free.  All pups are
Bile Acid tested, wormed 3 times, fecal tested at least twice and vet checked at least twice before
leaving my home.

We have a one year Health Guarantee for all genetic defects.  My pups are raised in my home under
foot.  My furbabies sleep in my bed, they warm my heart! They are
not kennel kept.  I sell my puppies
at sixteen weeks of age or later depending on size, temperament and recommendation of my
veterinarian.

My Biewers are all well behaved, beautiful and my breeding Biewers are wonderful representations of
the *original* Breed Standard.  We do not under any circumstances have Biewer Terriers.  Our
Biewers are PUREBRED.  Any Almost Heaven Biewer puppy always has a home to come back to if
for any reason the adoptive parents can no longer keep them.  If there are any questions please feel
free to call me.  Below you will find all the necessary information that you'll need to adopt a Biewer
pup from me!

I am easier to reach on the phone than I am on email.  I am a very busy person because of my
fur-babies, my business's, my affiliation with my Breed Club and last but not least my family!  :-)  I
am usually up late so feel free to call anytime between 9 am and 9 pm.

Male or Female?
What are Biewers?
The Biewer (pronounced Bee-va) originated in Hunsruck, Germany, in 1984. Werner and Gertrude
Biewer bred the first Biewer through a gene mutation, also known as a recessive piebald gene, in their
Yorkshire Terriers.

The master parents were "Darling von Friedheck" and "Fru Fru von Friedheck". Both dogs were blue
and tan and were world youth winners in 1981 at Dortmund. Their breeding brought the first blue,
white, and golden Biewer Yorkshire, "Schneeflocken von Friedheck", born in January of 1984.

Mr. Biewer continued breeding his colored Yorkies to achieve their white bellies and four white
paws. In
1989, the Biewer was accepted as its own breed with the ACH German e.V.

The breed standard is that of a Yorkshire Terrier except for the coloring and the full tail. The head
must have three colors: black or blue, white, and gold in good symmetry. The belly, chest, legs, and
the tip of the tail are white. The tail is full. The back is blue or black with white in it. The hair is
silky. Just like in Yorkshires the black on the pup generally turns blue with age.  Sometimes it does
not change!
"Teacup" Biewers?
Full or Limited Registration?
In comparison, Biewer prices are considerably higher than a Yorkshire Terrier.  My prices are not
determined until the pups are evaluated for structure, soundness, health and temperament.

I have noticed that Biewer's as in many breeds, will range in price usually based on pedigree,
registrations, health checks, vaccination protocol, micro chipping, markings on the body, and the
estimated adult size... etc.

On average, a good pet quality Biewer usually ranges around $2500 and upwards. Yet there are
some adorable larger (pet) Biewers who's price may be set a considerably lower in hopes of finding
the perfect forever home.

Who may not adopt a Almost
Heaven Biewer Puppy
Any Biewer pup that must be re-homed for what ever reason by the buyer must be returned to
Almost Heaven Biewers and will be re-homed or kept by us.  Any proceeds from the sale of the
pup will be given to the buyer (minus any expenses involved in the subsequent re-sale of said pup).

This measure alleviates the chance for any of my pups to be re-sold to puppy mills, brokers,
auctioneers, pet shops, unscrupulous breeders or breeders that do not mirror my very strict ethics...
people we choose not to sell our pups too.

As you can imagine... This is
MOST IMPORTANT to me!!!!

This TRULY breaks my heart ... but the word must be told....

In an effort to educate you about these terrible people you will see why I am
so VERY particular
about where my precious pups go.  One of my pups must NEVER EVER end up in a place like
this!!!   :-(

I think it is imperative to let people know what is happening out there to the babies that get in the
wrong hands and strictly for GREED.  Thinking of buying from a Pet Shop?  This is where your
pup will come from, or one just like it or much much worse!  Turn up the volume ...
Re-homing your puppy?
List of must haves or at least
something to work towards!
On a lighter note ... :-) Here is a printable list of things needed to spoil your new puppy!

Puppy Supplies
Believe it or not, Biewers are already in puppy mills!  They buy whole litters from brokers or shady
breeders here in the USA and in Germany or purchase pups or adults one by one from
unsuspecting breeders who are unaware of who is buying.  If breeders do not have iron clad
contracts to protect their dogs, they CAN end up like these poor dogs.  Please, please, please...
spread the word.  DO NOT buy from Pet Stores, puppy mills, unscrupulous breeders and Amish
puppy farms.
I know this is a lot to read and I appreciate you're taking the time to read it.  My passion for this
breed goes beyond measure. Along with the members of my club I only want what's best for the
Biewer and I along with my fellow club members are trying to do our part to ensure the Biewer's
bright future here in North America.

Thanks so much for your time!
Biewer Hugs from all of us at Almost Heaven Biewers!
