Welcome!
My name is Molly and my husband is Lee.  I am including this "About Us"
page in my Yorkshire Terrier site until I finish that page on Cloverdale
Yorkies... so, if you get directed here that's why!
We live in the beautiful and historical Charles Town and Harpers Ferry area of
the Shenandoah Valley in West Virginia.  We have to cross 3 states to get to
our businesses in Maryland!  Though it sounds like a very long way its only 40
miles!

We, along with our business partners,  own a hair salon called The Cutting
Edge Styling Studio and three automotive repair facilities called Dynamic
Automotive in the Frederick, Maryland area.

~ Our Kids ~
We have 2 beautiful and talented children. Our daughter Dr. Shannon Rigler is
an officer the United States Navy and graduated from medical school on May
19th, 2007.  Shannon is a Pediatrician and is looking forward to caring for the
needs of children.  She is married to our favorite son in law Justin, a very
talented and highly regarded veterinarian technician.  He is very helpful to me
when I need advice and a helping hand!  We are glad to have him as a part of
our family!  Our first grandchild was born on November 13, 2007!!!  Move
over puppies... Mommy has a new baby to spoil!!!

Our son Christopher is also in the military.  He is a Staff Sargent in the United
States Air Force.  He is currently stationed in Sierra Vista, AZ and has taken
on the challenge of becoming a Air Force Recruiter.  He is married to our
favorite daughter in law Brianna who is in college and studying to be a
teacher.  They were married in March.

We love our kids and are very proud of them and their accomplishments!

~ Our Biewers ~

Now... on to our favorite hobby!  We are Biewer Fanciers.  To say we love our
dogs is an understatement!  When the kids left we just HAD to have
something to fill the empty spaces!!

When I laid my eyes on the beautiful Biewer's on various web sites on the
Internet,  I simply fell in love.  From that point on I wanted to learn all I
could about this beautiful breed.  With the help of my exceptional friends my
dream has been fulfilled!  I found awesome mentors and I have  Gracie and our
other three girls Heidi, Mia and Lovetta and our little stud Hunter and Dice in
our homes!

Carrianne and I decided to embark on this Biewer obsession of ours in early
2005.  We live 6 houses apart and we share in each others lives as best of
friends along with our husbands Mike and Lee.

Her first Biewer was Berrin.  He arrived from Art of High Class in Germany and
fit right in at Carrianne's house with her Yorkie, Willie G and her Black Lab,
Doc.   Berrin is a sweet and wonderful male but he has a heart murmur and
luxatting patellas and is not to the Biewer standard so he has been neutered
and is now a pet ruling the roost at Carrianne's house.

Carrianne is excited as she now owns International Champion Dice von der
Hemsbach.  Dice is a proven winner in the show ring and has sired one
absolutely beautiful litter here and one with his previous owner.

Finally... my turn!  The arrival of my Gracie von der Hemsbach.  She is the
most beautiful & exquisitely wonderful girl!  She and I finally found the time
so we started handling classes!  Gracie will be a natural in the show ring like
her brother, International Champion Dice von der Hemsbach!

After a long time on Birgit's waiting list, along came Mia, Lovetta and Heidi.
Hunter von der Hemsbach followed and is such a sweet and loving boy and a
joy to have in our home.  My first bred by pup, Armani , is co-owned by me
and a dear friend Deb.  All of our Biewers are beautifully marked, have great
structure, are healthy and have awesome temperaments.  They are all
exquisitely beautiful... I have been blessed!

~ Our BBCI Club Affiliation ~
We are affiliated with the Biewer Breed Club International and I currently sit
on the board of Directors.  Our club's motto is Education, Excellence and
Ethics.  Since it's inception The Biewer Breed Club International is a Biewer
club devoted to educating the public about the German Biewer breed.  In our
sincere devotion to our beloved breed, we are steadfast in our belief that the
German Biewer shall remain pure in its heritage and NOT be bred back to the
Yorkshire Terrier. Health is of the utmost importance.   Proudly, since our
inception, we are the only North American Biewer Club that has bred
exclusively Biewer to Biewer from day one.  We believe in pruebred Biewers
only.  With members from the United States, Canada and South Africa, the
members of the Biewer Breed Club International have imported into North
America some of the most beautiful and exquisite pedigreed Biewers that are
available from Germany.

The BBCI encourages their members involvement in conformation, canine
obedience, freestyle and the many dog sports that are available as well as
therapy work. We are keen on including their youngest members so that they
may be involved in Junior Handling as they are the next generation of
Fanciers that will help preserve the Biewer breed.

~ Time to give thanks ~

I would like to thank my dear, dear friends Jackie and Laura from Jala Yorkies,
Jan Prosser from Enchanted Toi Biewers, Theresa Perry from Gipsy Tail
Biewers, Val Kibler of Windy Hill and Cheryl Katz for their friendship and help.
We spend hours on our days off talking Yorkies and Biewers!  They are very
dear friends and such an asset to the world of Biewers and Yorkies.

In addition, I would also like to acknowledge my fellow Biewer Breed Club
International members.  They are an awesome group of individuals who are
equally as passionate about the Biewer.  We all have a passion to educate
others and guide breeders to do what's best for the Biewer concerning ethical
breeding practices and health screening. In order for this breed to flourish, we
need to be guardians of the breed and we vow to always do that!

~ Registration ~
Like I said before, we belong to the Biewer Breed Club International in the
USA  and the UCI/RVD in Germany.  Our Biewers & their future Biewer off
spring will be dual registered both in Germany and in the Biewer Breed
International Registry here in the United States.  Our Biewer pet quality
puppies will be solely registered in the BBIR.  The BBIR offers limited
registration preventing all pet puppies from being bred. We plan to show our
Biewers in the International Rare Breed shows here in the USA and Canada and
after retirement, overseas as well.

Thanks so very much for taking the time to read about our passion... The
Biewer.  We truly adore them and they along with our Yorkies, make our lives
complete!
